On Saturday, December 6, The Calgary Society of Independent Filmmakers (CSIF) is hosting “In the Can,” a one-night showcase of 14 original short films created right here in Calgary. From emerging voices to seasoned independent filmmakers, it’s a rare chance to see the city’s local filmmaking talent together in one room. The evening runs from 6:00 to 11:30 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion No. 1 (18+), with two curated screenings and a silent auction featuring local artisans and businesses.

More than just a showcase, “In the Can” fuels CSIF’s mission to keep Calgary’s indie film scene connected, equipped and thriving.
